Sesame Place Photos

On Monday, we took Caleb to Sesame Place for an early birthday gift. He had a great time and, on the way out, when Bri asked him which part was his favorite, Caleb said "Everything!"

Caleb really liked the Merry Go Round...I think he went on in 3 or 4 times.

The pic above and the ones below are of us watching the parade on the way out of the park. He knew almost all of the characters and was screaming thier names as they walked by.

He really loved the pools there. This was the first one that he went in...it had two small slides and he was totally fearless!

In the one above, you can see him coming down the white slide. He's waiting for Daddy to pick him up at the bottom.

The Big Bird ride above is Caleb's first official carnival/theme park ride. He did very well.

He didn't want to sit on Daddy's lap...he wanted to sit in his own seat like a "big boy".

Above is Caleb posing with Abbey Cadabby. We thought he might be afraid of the characters, but he was all over them.

He was so excited to see Elmo! He ran right up to him and wanted a hug. It was so cute!

These are on our way out of the park. He was so tired but wasn't cranky at all. He had such a great time!

6 Years Ago...

On August 9th, 6 years ago, Bri schmoozed his way onto what is now the Top of the Rock so that he could surprise the crap out of me and propose. On the 6th anniversary of our engagement we went back. Of course, now it's all redone up there and crowded with tourists, but when we were there the first time it was just us (and the security guard that Brian bribed to let us up there). It was a beautiful summer day and the sunset was amazing over NJ...just like it was yesterday.
Here is the picture we took yesterday to celebrate. Things are a little bit different now...one kid and one on the way with 5 years of marriage under our belt!

On Sunday, Uncle Sean and Ruchey were kind enough to babysit for us while we went to a much-needed movie. I'm sure Caleb was in heaven because the day consisted of some of his favorite things...Ruchey, the park, the sprinklers and pizza.
