The morning after...

The picture below is Caleb recovering from Aunt Peaches and Uncle David's wedding. He slept in the morning after while Mommy and Daddy were tiptoeing around the hotel room so he could get his beauty sleep.


He had actually been pretty sick that whole week with some kind of unidentified virus. We had to take him to the emergency room on Friday night and then to the pediatrician on Tuesday. He had a fever in this pic so that's why he's got the washcloth on his head but he's so wonderful that when it came time to party, he rallied and was such a trooper.

At the beach...

While in Florida, we went to the beach with Grammy, Nana, Papa, Mommy and Daddy. Caleb still isn't a big fan of the sand (I can't say I blame him) and the waves are a little scary for a little guy, but he was brave and let us hold him while we got our feet wet!

The happy couple. You can get just a glimpse of Uncle David's green converse. He didn't wear them for the ceremony but I think these were his dancing shoes during the reception.

...except for the almost-meltdown in the middle of the aisle and the fact that Mom had to hold the pillow and give you a pacifier in the middle of the whole thing. (And Jake, if you're reading this...I'm just saying he was the best ever because he's my kid. You were AWESOME and handled the whole your-mom-tying-the-rings-with-a-complicated-sailor-knot thing wonderfully!!)

Check out Mr. Caleb as he partied it up at Aunt Peaches and (now officially) Uncle David's wedding! He had already removed his bow tie, tux jacket, shirt and shiny shoes at this point (so, yeah, basically he just had his tux pants on), but he still looks adorable.
